The morning was peaceful when Mom began preparing everything for little Jasmine’s bath.
She filled the small tub with comfortably warm water, placed a soft towel nearby, and prepared a clean outfit for afterward.
Meanwhile, tiny Jasmine sat safely in a cozy basket, waiting for Mom.
At first, she was quiet.
She watched Mom move around the room with her big curious eyes.
But after a few minutes, Jasmine started wondering why Mom was taking so long.
She looked toward the bathtub.
Then she looked back at Mom.
Her little face became serious.
“Mama…”
Mom smiled.
“Just a little longer, sweetheart. Mommy is getting everything ready.”
Jasmine wasn’t satisfied with that answer.
Her tiny lips began to tremble.
“Eee… eee…”
Mom continued preparing the bath.
Suddenly, Jasmine let out a loud cry.
“WAAAAAH!”
She waved her tiny arms and kicked her little feet inside the basket.
Mom immediately turned around.
“Oh, my poor girl!”
Jasmine stared at her with watery eyes.
She clearly wanted Mom to come over and pick her up instead of continuing to prepare the bath.
Mom walked over and gently stroked her head.
“I know you’re getting impatient.”
Jasmine answered with another dramatic cry.
Dad heard the noise and peeked into the room.
“Someone isn’t very happy about waiting.”
Mom laughed softly.
“She wants everything ready right now.”
Jasmine continued making little unhappy sounds, but Mom stayed calm.
She gently reassured her.
“Mommy is right here. You are safe.”
After checking that everything was ready, Mom carefully lifted Jasmine from the basket.
The moment Jasmine felt Mom’s arms around her, her crying became quieter.
She rested her tiny head against Mom’s shoulder.
Mom kissed her forehead.
“There you go, my impatient little girl.”
Jasmine gave a tiny sniffle.
Mom slowly carried her toward the warm bath.
This time, Jasmine looked at the water with curiosity instead of anger.
Mom gently touched the water first.
“See? It’s warm.”
Jasmine watched closely.
Her little feet soon touched the water, and she began relaxing.
The earlier tantrum seemed completely forgotten.
Mom gently washed her while humming a soft song.
Jasmine made a tiny happy squeak and splashed her little hands in the water.
Dad smiled.
“Looks like the grumpy mood is gone.”
Mom laughed.
“All she needed was a little patience and Mommy’s cuddle.”
After the bath, Mom wrapped Jasmine in a fluffy towel and held her close.
Jasmine rested peacefully against her chest.
Her warm bath had made her sleepy.
Mom gently stroked her head and whispered,
“Next time, try to be patient while Mommy gets everything ready.”
Jasmine gave a tiny sleepy sound as if promising to try.
A few minutes later, she was peacefully resting in Mom’s arms, her earlier temper completely forgotten.
Sometimes even the smallest babies can have very big feelings.
But with patience, comfort, and a loving Mommy nearby, even the biggest little tantrum can quickly turn into a peaceful cuddle.
