In the heart of the lush forest, little Mynu was known as the most playful and curious monkey in her troop. But what truly made her stand out was her ability to listen to her mother and follow instructions, even during her most mischievous adventures.

One sunny morning, Mynu’s mother called her over. “Mynu, today we’re going to gather fruit from the big mango tree. I need you to stay close and help me,” she said gently. Mynu’s eyes lit up, and she clapped her tiny hands. “Yes, Mama! I’ll be good,” she promised.

As they walked to the tree, Mynu hopped beside her mother, carrying a small woven basket. When they arrived, her mother pointed to the ripe mangos hanging high on the branches. “I’ll climb up to pick the fruit. You stay here and collect anything I drop,” she instructed.

True to her word, Mynu sat patiently under the tree, watching her mother climb with grace. Each time a mango fell, Mynu would dart forward, catch it in her basket, and place it carefully inside. “Got it, Mama!” she chirped every time, her tail swishing happily.

Halfway through, Mynu spotted a butterfly fluttering nearby. She watched it with wide eyes, but then remembered her promise. “Not now,” she told herself, turning back to focus on the mangos. Her mother glanced down and smiled proudly.

When the basket was full, Mynu carried it all the way home without a single complaint. As a reward, her mother handed her the juiciest mango. “You did such a great job today, Mynu. I’m so proud of you!”

Mynu’s little face lit up with joy as she hugged her mother tightly. It was moments like these that showed how even the smallest acts of obedience and responsibility could make Mynu the most lovable monkey of all.
