The morning was quiet when little newborn Ronaldo slowly woke up from his cozy blanket.

He blinked his sleepy eyes and looked around.

Something felt wrong.

Mom wasn’t beside him.

Ronaldo lifted his tiny head and searched the room.

Nothing.

His little face became worried.

“Mama…”

Only a soft squeak came out.

He waited.

Still no Mom.

Suddenly, Ronaldo opened his tiny mouth wide and began crying.

“WAAAAAH!”

His little arms stretched forward as he slowly moved across the soft floor, searching for the person he trusted most.

He looked behind the blanket.

No Mom.

He turned toward the doorway.

Still nothing.

His cries became louder.

“WAAAAAH! Mama!”

Dad heard the noise and came to check on him.

“Ronaldo, Mommy is nearby.”

But Ronaldo didn’t understand.

He only knew that he couldn’t see Mom.

He continued walking around with his mouth wide open, crying and looking from one corner of the room to another.

His tiny steps were slow and unsteady.

Every few steps, he stopped and called again.

“Mama… Mama…”

His eyes filled with tears.

Then, from the hallway, Mom heard him.

“My baby!”

She immediately came running back into the room.

The instant Ronaldo saw her, his entire expression changed.

He stopped crying for a moment.

His eyes became wide with relief.

Then he stretched both tiny arms toward her and cried even louder.

Mom gently picked him up.

“Oh, my precious boy. Mommy is here.”

Ronaldo immediately buried his face against her chest.

His loud cries became soft little sobs.

Mom gently rocked him while stroking his tiny head.

“I’m sorry you were worried. I only stepped away for a moment.”

Ronaldo held onto her shirt tightly, refusing to let go.

Dad smiled.

“Someone really missed his Mommy.”

Mom kissed Ronaldo’s forehead.

“Even when you can’t see me, I’ll always come back.”

After a few minutes, Ronaldo finally calmed down.

Mom prepared his warm bottle and fed him while holding him close.

His tiny tummy became full, and his tired eyes slowly closed.

Before falling asleep, Ronaldo gave Mom one last little cuddle.

Mom smiled and whispered, “That’s my brave little boy.”

Wrapped safely in her arms, Ronaldo drifted peacefully to sleep.

His search was over.

He had found the one place where he felt completely safe—Mom’s warm embrace.
