It was a bright and peaceful morning, but Baby Mato was already restless. He sat on the kitchen counter, his tiny hands gripping the edge as he watched Mommy prepare his bottle of milk.

Mato’s big, curious eyes followed every move. The clinking of the spoon against the bottle, the gentle swirl of the milk powder dissolving into the warm water—it was all fascinating to him. But more than anything, it was making him hungrier by the second.

He leaned forward, his little mouth opening and closing as if he could already taste the sweet milk. “Eeeek!” he squeaked, trying to grab at the bottle with his tiny hands.

“Just a minute, Mato,” Mommy said with a smile, gently moving his hand away. “Let me finish mixing it first.”

But Mato couldn’t wait. His excitement bubbled over, and he began bouncing in place, letting out a series of impatient chirps. He tilted his head, staring at her with the most pleading eyes, as if to say, Hurry up, Mommy!

Finally, Mommy gave the bottle a last shake and tested it to make sure it was the perfect temperature. “All done!” she announced, holding it up.

Mato’s face lit up with joy. He stretched his little arms toward her, letting out a delighted squeal. Mommy placed the bottle in his hands, and he immediately wrapped his lips around the nipple, drinking greedily.

As the warm milk filled his tummy, Mato’s earlier impatience melted away. He closed his eyes in bliss, his tiny tail wagging happily behind him.

Mommy laughed softly, watching her baby enjoy his milk. “You’re such a little milk monster, Mato,” she teased, ruffling his soft fur. Mato, too busy drinking, just gave a satisfied hum in response.
