Little Lika was happy and calm today while staying close to Mom.
The tiny baby felt safe and comfortable, enjoying every moment beside her favorite person.
But then—
Mom stepped away for a moment.
The instant Lika noticed Mom moving away—
Her little face changed completely.
Huge trembling pout.
Watery eyes.
Then—
“AHHHHH!”
Lika suddenly burst into loud crying.
Tiny tears rolled down her cheeks while she stretched both little hands toward Mom, clearly upset that she was no longer nearby.
Poor emotional baby looked heartbroken.
“MAMAAA!”
She cried louder and louder while staring at Mom, hoping she would come back immediately.
No toys helped.
No distractions worked.
Lika only wanted Mom close again.
The tiny monkey sat there sobbing sadly, unable to understand why Mom had stepped away.
Finally—
Mom heard the emotional cries and hurried back over.
“Oh, sweet baby…”
She gently picked Lika up and cuddled her close against her chest.
Instant comfort.
The loud crying softened into tiny shaky sniffles while the little monkey clung tightly to Mom, finally feeling safe again.
Little by little—
The tears stopped.
The pout disappeared.
And Lika relaxed peacefully in Mom’s warm loving arms.
Because sometimes, tiny babies can go from happy to sad in a second—
simply because Mom stepped away.
