The tiny newborn baby sat sadly near the wall, looking lonely and emotional.
The room felt quiet while the little baby waited and waited for Mom to come home. His tiny eyes kept staring toward the doorway hopefully, but Mom still hadn’t arrived yet.
Slowly—
His little lips trembled into a deep pout.
Then—
“AHHHHH!”
The newborn burst into loud heartbreaking crying.
Tiny tears rolled down his delicate cheeks while his weak little body shook with sadness and frustration. Poor baby looked completely upset that Mom came home so late.
“MAMAAA!”
He cried loudly beside the wall while stretching tiny hands forward desperately, clearly missing warmth, cuddles, and attention.
The lonely newborn continued sobbing sadly, his tiny cries echoing softly while he waited impatiently for comfort.
Finally—
Mom arrived home.
The moment she hurried over and gently lifted him into warm loving arms, the loud crying instantly weakened into tiny shaky sniffles.
Safe again.
The newborn buried his tiny face against Mom’s chest while holding tightly, clearly refusing to feel lonely anymore after waiting so long.
Mom softly kissed his little head. “Sorry baby…”
Little by little—
The sadness faded.
The crying stopped.
And the tiny newborn relaxed peacefully once he finally felt Mom close beside him again.
Because sometimes, even very tiny babies notice when Mom is gone too long—
and their little hearts miss her deeply.
