Little Lion was not happy at all today.
Dad had brought him out to the open field, but the moment Dad gently placed him down alone on the grass, the tiny baby’s face changed immediately.
Huge pout.
Sad eyes.
Then—
“AHHHHH!”
Lion burst into loud unhappy crying.
His tiny body shook with frustration while he stared directly at Dad, clearly upset about being left sitting alone in the big field.
Poor emotional baby looked completely unsatisfied.
He didn’t care about the fresh air.
He didn’t care about the beautiful field.
He only wanted Dad close beside him.
“DADDDD!”
Lion cried loudly while reaching tiny hands upward desperately, refusing to accept being left alone on the ground.
Dad tried encouraging him softly. “Play a little, baby.”
But Lion answered with more dramatic crying and grumpy little protests. His tiny legs kicked against the grass while tears rolled heavily down his cheeks.
No adventure today.
Only clingy feelings.
Finally, Dad walked back over and picked the emotional baby into warm arms again.
Instant calm.
The loud crying slowly softened into tiny sniffles while Lion buried his face against Dad’s chest, finally satisfied and comforted again.
Because sometimes, little babies don’t want freedom or space—
They just want to stay close to the person they love most.
