Little newborn Ronaldo was already upset—
But when Mom tried to pick him up and comfort him, he reacted even more dramatically.
The tiny baby threw his head backward with surprising attitude, crying loudly while pushing his little body away in protest.
“AHHHHH!”
His small arms waved sharply as tears rolled down his cheeks. Every time Mom reached toward him gently, Ronaldo leaned backward again, stubbornly rejecting being picked up for the moment.
Poor emotional baby.
His tiny face turned red with frustration while he cried harder and harder, overwhelmed by all the feelings inside his little body.
Mom stayed calm. “Ronaldo… baby…”
But Ronaldo answered with another loud backward tantrum cry, arching away dramatically while kicking his tiny legs.
It wasn’t that he didn’t want comfort—
He was simply too emotional to settle down immediately.
Too upset.
Too overwhelmed.
Mom remained patient, sitting close without forcing him, softly speaking comforting words while letting him release his tiny frustrations safely.
Little by little—
The loud cries weakened.
The backward pushing slowed.
Ronaldo’s tiny body became tired from all the emotion pouring out of him.
Finally, after one last shaky sob, he slowly leaned closer again.
Mom gently lifted him into warm arms.
This time—
No fighting.
Only exhausted little sniffles as he rested against her chest, finally accepting the comfort he needed all along.
Because sometimes, tiny babies push away love for a moment—
Not because they don’t want it—
But because their little hearts are overwhelmed with feelings they don’t yet understand.
