Little Linda was already in a bad mood.
She sat tightly hugging her little basket like it was the only thing keeping her calm, her tiny face full of attitude while Mom prepared a clean diaper nearby.
The moment Linda realized what was about to happen—
Her pout grew instantly.
Wide offended eyes.
Tight little grip on the basket.
Then—
“AHHHHH!”
Linda burst into loud screaming.
Her tiny body twisted dramatically while she clung harder to the basket, clearly refusing Mom’s diaper mission. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she kicked her little legs in protest.
No diaper.
No changing.
Absolutely not.
“Mamaaa!”
She screamed louder while Mom gently tried to calm her. “Linda, you need a clean diaper, baby.”
But Linda answered with another sharp cry, hugging the basket even tighter like she was protecting herself from the unfair situation.
Poor moody girl.
Every attempt to put the diaper on caused more dramatic screaming and stubborn wiggling. Her tiny body rolled left and right while she fought with all her baby energy.
Mom stayed patient.
Slow hands.
Gentle voice.
Lots of comforting.
Finally—
After plenty of dramatic protests, the diaper was successfully on.
Linda sat there breathing hard with the biggest pout imaginable, still clutching her basket while giving Mom deeply offended looks.
Mom kissed her tiny head softly. “All done now.”
Linda sniffled angrily one last time but slowly relaxed, secretly happier now that she felt dry and comfortable again.
Because sometimes, for a moody little baby—
Even diaper time feels like the biggest personal battle in the world.
