Little Romeo Protests His Bath, Not Happy at All

Morning care was meant to be gentle—

Warm water.

Soft hands.

A calm routine.

But for tiny newborn Romeo, it felt like a big problem.

The moment Mom began bathing him, his small body tensed. His eyes widened, and his tiny hands moved restlessly, unsure of the strange, wet feeling all around him.

He didn’t like it.

Not one bit.

Then—

“AHHHH!”

Romeo burst into loud, unhappy crying.

His little legs kicked lightly, his body twisting as he protested the bath with all the strength he had. Tears rolled down his cheeks, his voice sharp and full of discomfort.

To him, this wasn’t soothing.

It was confusing.

Uncomfortable.

Too much.

“Mama…!”

His cries seemed to call, even without words.

Mom stayed calm, holding him gently. “It’s okay, baby… just a little more,” she whispered softly.

She moved slowly, carefully washing his tiny arms, his little back, making sure he felt supported the whole time. But Romeo kept crying, clearly not satisfied with this situation.

No matter how warm the water was—

No matter how gentle the touch—

He wanted out.

Now.

His cries echoed louder, his tiny face turning red as he protested every second.

Finally—

Bath time was over.

Mom quickly wrapped him in a soft, warm towel and lifted him close to her chest.

Instant change.

His loud cries softened into small, shaky sobs as he pressed into her warmth, finally feeling safe again.

His body relaxed.

His breathing slowed.

Peace returned.

Mom kissed his head gently.

Because sometimes, for a newborn—

Even the gentlest care can feel overwhelming—

Until it’s over and they’re back in loving arms.
