ChiChi Screams Until Mom Stops Working

The kitchen was filled with clinking sounds and quiet focus. Mom moved quickly, preparing food, her hands busy with every task. To her, it was just another routine moment.

But not for ChiChi.

From the doorway, ChiChi watched, her tiny face slowly tightening. She didn’t want to wait. She didn’t want to be ignored.

She wanted Mom.

Now.

Her lips trembled—then suddenly, she screamed.

“Ahhh! Ahhh!”

The sound cut through the kitchen, loud and sharp. Her small body tensed as she cried again, even louder this time, forcing her presence into the moment.

Mom paused for a second… then continued working.

That only made it worse.

ChiChi stomped forward, her cries rising into a full meltdown. Tears rushed down her cheeks as she waved her little arms, demanding attention. “Mama! Mama!” she screamed, her voice breaking with frustration.

She wasn’t asking.

She was insisting.

Her cries echoed louder and louder, bouncing off the kitchen walls until they couldn’t be ignored anymore.

Finally, Mom stopped.

She turned around, her expression shifting as she saw ChiChi’s tearful face and shaking body. The urgency in those cries was impossible to miss.

“ChiChi…” she said softly, stepping closer.

But ChiChi didn’t calm down right away. She kept crying, reaching out, making sure she had her mom’s full attention now.

Mom knelt down, wiping her tears gently. “Okay, I’m here,” she whispered.

That was all ChiChi needed.

Her cries slowly softened into small sobs as she leaned into her mom, finally feeling seen.

The kitchen work could wait.

Because in that moment, ChiChi didn’t need food or noise—

She just needed to know she came first.
