It only took a moment.
Mom turned away briefly, busy with something nearby. Everything had been calm just seconds before.
But little Yuri’s mood changed fast.
Her tiny face tightened, and her eyes locked onto Mina, who was sitting quietly beside her.
Then suddenly—
Yuri reached out and pulled Mina’s head/hair roughly.
“EEEEEE!”
She began screaming loudly, her voice sharp and intense. It was a sudden burst of emotion, loud and unexpected.
Mina cried out in shock.
“Eee! Eee!”
She pulled back, confused and hurt, not understanding why Yuri acted that way.
Mom quickly turned back.
She rushed over and immediately separated them, making sure Mina was okay. Then she held Yuri gently but firmly to stop the behavior.
Yuri was still screaming.
Her tiny body was tense, filled with uncontrolled emotion. She didn’t know how to express her feelings in a gentle way.
Mom stayed calm.
She comforted Mina first, holding her close until she settled down. Then she turned to Yuri, speaking softly but clearly, guiding her.
No hurting.
No pulling.
Only gentle hands.
Slowly, Yuri’s loud cries began to fade. Her body relaxed as Mom continued calming her down.
The moment passed.
Both little monkeys were safe again.
Even though Yuri acted rough for a moment, it became a chance to teach her something important—how to be kind, patient, and gentle with others.
