Little baby Shala sat there, her tiny face already showing frustration. She looked up at Daddy, her eyes full of expectation.

She wanted to be picked up.

Right now.

At first, she made small sounds.

“Eee… eee…”

Her little hands lifted slightly, reaching toward him. But Daddy was busy and didn’t pick her up immediately.

That’s when her mood changed.

Her lips trembled.

Her face tightened.

Then suddenly—

“EEEEEE!”

Shala burst into a loud temper cry, her voice sharp and full of anger. Her tiny body shook as she cried harder and louder.

“Eee! Eee!”

She waved her arms, clearly demanding attention. For her, being ignored—even for a moment—felt unbearable.

She didn’t understand waiting.

She only knew she wanted Daddy.

Her cries filled the space, dramatic and intense. She kept looking at him, as if saying, “Why won’t you carry me?”

Daddy finally turned.

Seeing her red face and strong emotions, his heart softened. He stepped closer and gently picked her up.

The moment she felt his arms—

Everything changed.

The loud crying stopped.

Her body relaxed instantly as she clung tightly to him. The anger disappeared, replaced by comfort and safety.

Now calm again, Shala rested quietly, her tiny hands holding onto Daddy.

For little Shala, all she wanted was simple—to be held, cared for, and never feel left alone.
