Yuri’s Watery Eyes in a New Place

Little Yuri sat very still, her tiny body slightly curled as she looked around. Everything felt unfamiliar.

The place was new.

The smells were different.

The sounds were strange.

Yuri’s big eyes slowly moved from one corner to another, trying to understand where she was. But instead of curiosity, there was something else in them—

Fear.

Her eyes became watery, shining softly as if tears might fall at any moment. Her tiny hands stayed close to her chest, and she didn’t dare move much.

“Eee…”

A soft, uncertain sound came from her.

It wasn’t loud.

Just a quiet expression of confusion.

The little monkey blinked slowly, her gaze still searching. Nothing felt safe yet. The new environment made her feel small and unsure.

Her body stayed tense.

Even small noises made her flinch slightly.

She didn’t cry loudly—but her watery eyes said everything.

She was frightened.

Mom noticed right away.

She gently walked closer and slowly reached out, careful not to scare her more. Her voice was soft and calming, creating a sense of comfort.

Yuri looked at her.

For a moment, she didn’t move.

Then slowly, she leaned forward.

Mom carefully picked her up and held her close.

That’s when everything began to change.

Yuri’s tense body slowly relaxed. Her watery eyes softened, and her small hands gently held onto Mom.

The fear faded.

Now in warm arms, the strange place didn’t feel so scary anymore.

Because for little Yuri, no matter where she was, as long as Mom was there—she was safe.
