Little Ronaldo was sitting close to Mom, watching everything carefully. Selena was already there, comfortably in Mom’s arms, enjoying the warm attention.
Ronaldo didn’t like it.
At first, he just stared.
His tiny face slowly tightened, and his body became tense. The more he watched Selena being held, the more jealous he felt inside.
He wanted Mom all to himself.
Then suddenly—
“EEEE!”
Ronaldo rushed forward and bit Selena.
Selena cried out in shock.
“Eee! Eee!”
She quickly pulled back, surprised and hurt by the sudden bite. She hadn’t done anything, but Ronaldo’s jealousy had taken over.
Mom reacted immediately.
She gently separated them, making sure Selena was okay. Then she held Ronaldo firmly but calmly, stopping the behavior right away.
Ronaldo still looked upset.
He made small angry sounds, his tiny body stiff with emotion. He didn’t understand how to share Mom’s attention.
Mom spoke softly.
She comforted Selena first, making sure she felt safe. Then she turned to Ronaldo, gently guiding him and showing that biting was not okay.
She held both of them close.
Slowly, the tension began to fade. Ronaldo’s anger softened, and his small body relaxed. The strong emotion passed as quickly as it came.
Soon, both little monkeys were calm again.
Mom kept them near, showing them love equally.
