Morning came too quickly for little Ronaldo.
Mom was getting ready to go to work, moving gently around the room. Everything seemed normal—until Ronaldo noticed something was wrong.
He watched her carefully.
When Mom picked up her bag and walked toward the door, Ronaldo’s tiny face suddenly changed. His eyes widened, and his body stiffened with emotion.
He knew what it meant.
“Eeeeeee!”
Ronaldo burst into a loud tantrum, crying with all his strength. His small hands reached out toward Mom, begging her not to go without him.
“Eee! Eee!”
He cried louder and louder, his voice filled with panic and sadness. His little feet kicked as he tried to move closer, desperate to follow her.
For Ronaldo, being left behind felt unbearable.
Mom turned around quickly, her heart softening at the sight. The tiny monkey’s face was red, and tears filled his eyes as he cried uncontrollably.
She walked back and gently picked him up.
The moment Ronaldo felt her arms, he clung tightly, still crying but now a little softer. His tiny hands grabbed her clothes, refusing to let go.
He didn’t want her to leave.
Mom held him close for a moment, softly comforting him. She spoke gently, trying to calm his emotional heart.
Slowly, his loud cries turned into quiet sniffles.
Even though it was hard, Ronaldo began to relax in her arms.
He didn’t understand why Mom had to go, but he only knew one thing—he loved being with her.
And in that moment, all he wanted was to stay close, safe, and never be left behind.
