Little baby Jasmine was feeling very hungry around lunchtime. Her tiny tummy was already empty, and she was waiting for Mom to bring her food.
At first, Jasmine sat quietly.
She looked around the room and watched the door, hoping Mom would appear with her lunch soon.
But Mom was a little late.
As the minutes passed, Jasmine began to feel more and more impatient. Her small face slowly turned grumpy, and her eyes filled with frustration.
Then suddenly—
“EEEEEE!”
Baby Jasmine started screaming loudly.
Her angry cry echoed through the room as she waved her tiny arms and stomped her little feet. The hungry baby monkey clearly didn’t like waiting.
“Eeeee! Eeee!”
She kept shouting again and again, making sure Mom could hear her from far away. Her big eyes stared toward the door as if demanding Mom to hurry.
The loud screaming continued for a moment.
Finally, Mom heard the dramatic cries and quickly came over. When Jasmine saw Mom approaching, she kept crying but stretched her tiny hands forward eagerly.
Mom brought the food and sat beside her.
The moment Jasmine received her lunch, the loud angry screams slowly stopped. She focused on eating, her mood quickly becoming calm again.
Now the once-angry baby monkey sat quietly enjoying her meal.
Sometimes Jasmine becomes very dramatic when she’s hungry—but once lunch arrives, everything feels better again.
