Tiny baby monkey Minea was sitting alone on a small folding chair. Her little body looked so small against the big chair, and her round eyes kept looking around the room.
But Mom was not there.
At first, Minea waited quietly for a moment. She held the edge of the chair with her tiny hands and looked toward the door, hoping Mom would appear soon.
When nothing happened, her face slowly became worried.
Then suddenly—
“Eeeee! Eeeee!”
Minea began screaming loudly.
Her tiny voice echoed through the room as she cried nonstop. She bounced slightly on the folding chair, shaking her little arms while calling again and again.
“Maa! Maa!”
The little monkey felt lonely and scared sitting there by herself. The chair wobbled a little every time she moved, which made her even more nervous.
Still, Minea refused to climb down.
She stayed on the chair, gripping it tightly while crying louder and louder. Tears gathered in her big eyes as she kept calling for Mom to come back.
“Eeeeeee!”
Her cries became more desperate with every second.
From another room, Mom finally heard the loud screaming. The moment she realized it was Minea, she quickly rushed over to see what was wrong.
When Minea saw Mom coming closer, her crying became even louder—but this time it sounded more like relief.
Mom gently picked her up from the folding chair.
The tiny monkey immediately wrapped her arms tightly around Mom’s neck, clinging to her like a little baby who never wanted to be alone again.
Slowly, Minea’s loud screams turned into soft whimpers.
Safe in Mom’s warm arms, the frightened little monkey finally felt calm again.
