In the cozy living room of the family home, a scene of mischief was unfolding. Minea, the feisty baby monkey, sat on the sofa with a glare in her eyes, watching her younger sibling, Mako, play with their human mom. Mom had been doting on tiny Mako all morning, and Minea was not pleased.
As Mako happily clapped his hands and giggled, Minea’s jealousy boiled over. Without warning, she dashed across the room, her tiny feet barely making a sound on the floor. She grabbed Mako by his arm, pulling him away from Mom.
“Minea, stop that!” Mom scolded, but the fiery little monkey was too angry to listen.
Mako, startled by his sister’s aggression, let out a frightened squeal. Minea, ignoring the protests, leaned forward and gave a quick nip on Mako’s tiny head. The little one cried loudly, his wails echoing through the house as tears rolled down his cheeks.
Mom rushed to separate them, picking up Mako and cradling him in her arms. “Minea! That’s enough!” she said firmly, her tone full of disapproval. Minea, realizing she had gone too far, retreated to a corner, her head hanging low.
Mako clung to Mom, still sniffling, as she gently kissed his head and checked for any injuries. Thankfully, it was just a light bite. “You’re okay, sweetheart,” Mom whispered soothingly, wiping away his tears.
Minea, now sulking, peeked at Mom and Mako from her corner. Her jealousy had gotten the better of her, and now she felt a pang of guilt. Mom, noticing her remorseful expression, sighed. “Come here, Minea.”
Minea shuffled over hesitantly. Mom pulled her close, holding both monkeys in her arms. “No more fighting, okay? You’re both my babies.”
