Chamroeun vs The Chicken Thief

Chamroeun was enjoying his tiny fruit snack under the warm morning sun — happy, relaxed, tail swaying peacefully. He held his banana piece like treasure, taking slow bites, feeling like the king of the yard. But then the chickens arrived.

One bold chicken strutted closer… then closer… eyes locked on Chamroeun’s food like a hungry pirate spotting gold. Chamroeun froze, not expecting such bravery from a feathered thief. Before he could react, peck! — the chicken snatched a chunk and ran.

Chamroeun gasped — shocked for half a second — and then the drama exploded.
He puffed up, tiny arms spread wide, and let out a scream louder than the rooster’s morning call.

“EEEEK! NOOO!!”
His voice echoed through the yard like sirens.

He chased after the chicken with furious baby steps, face red, tail flicking beside him like a whip. The chicken clucked in panic, flapping wildly, running as if the world was ending. The other chickens joined the chaos, feathers flying everywhere like snow.

Mom watched from the side, trying not to laugh. Chamroeun was tiny, but his pride was big — and no one steals from a baby monkey without hearing about it. He finally stopped, standing tall with hands on his hips like a tiny warrior who just defended his honor.

Mom came over with a fresh banana, placing it in his hands. Chamroeun grabbed it quickly, still grumbling under his breath, eyes scanning to make sure no chicken dared again. He took a bite — slow and proud — victory restored.

Chamroeun might be small, but his voice?
Loud enough to make even chickens think twice!
