Tiny Tav Tav was usually a cheerful little baby monkey, always bouncing around, clinging to branches, and enjoying his playful moments. But today felt different. The morning was unusually quiet, and the little guy’s heart felt a bit too empty. He had woken up expecting Mommy to be right beside him—warm, soft, and comforting—but instead, she was across the yard doing her chores.
At first, Tav Tav tried to stay calm. He sat on the wooden floor, watching Mommy’s movements carefully. Every few seconds, he leaned forward as if she might come pick him up—but she didn’t. His tiny lips quivered, his eyes watered, and he let out a small whimper.
When Mommy walked past him once again without stopping, Tav Tav couldn’t hold it anymore. He opened his little mouth wide and released a loud scream, a cry full of frustration, fear, and longing. His voice filled the whole house.
He crawled quickly toward her, stumbling a little on the way, his arms reaching out desperately. His whole body shook as he stretched his hands forward, begging in the only way he knew how. “Pick me up, Mommy! Hold me!” his cries seemed to say.
Mommy turned, startled by the sudden outburst. Tav Tav’s tiny face was soaked in tears, his chest rising and falling fast. He screamed again, even louder, almost gasping for breath as he begged for the warmth he needed so badly.
Unable to ignore him any longer, Mommy rushed over. She gently scooped Tav Tav into her arms and pressed him close to her chest. The moment he felt her embrace, his crying softened. His tiny fingers gripped her tightly, refusing to let go.
His breathing slowed, his eyes closed halfway, and he let out a small, shaky sigh.
All Tav Tav wanted… was a hug from his mom. And finally, in her arms, the world felt right again.
