Angry Little Ruby Cries for Mommy’s Care

Baby Ruby had always been a sensitive little monkey, but today her emotions were overflowing more than ever. From the moment she woke up, she expected Mommy to scoop her into warm arms, cuddle her tightly, and give her the gentle morning care she loved. But this morning, Mommy was busy doing house chores, moving around the yard, cleaning, sweeping, and preparing food.

Ruby sat alone on the floor, her tiny tail curled around her body as she watched Mommy walk past her again and again without picking her up. At first, Ruby only whimpered, her eyebrows pulled tightly together in frustration. But when Mommy still didn’t come, her sadness turned into anger—hot, heavy, and impossible for her tiny heart to hold.

Ruby slammed her little hands on the ground, letting out a sharp cry that echoed across the house. Her face reddened, her breathing grew fast, and she opened her mouth wide in a heartbreaking scream. She wasn’t just angry—she felt forgotten. That was a feeling a small baby like Ruby didn’t know how to understand.

She crawled toward Mommy, tears streaming down her cheeks, trying to climb onto her leg. But Mommy gently moved her aside, whispering, “Wait, Ruby… Mommy is almost done.”

That made everything worse. Ruby threw herself flat on the ground and let out a long moaning cry, shaking her head back and forth. She kicked her tiny legs, clenched her tiny fists, and screamed with all the emotion she had inside. Her whole body trembled, begging for attention, begging for comfort.

Finally, Mommy finished her chores and rushed to scoop Ruby gently into her arms. The moment Ruby felt that familiar warmth, her cries softened. Her breathing slowed, and she pressed her tiny face into Mommy’s chest, still hiccuping from the tantrum.

All Ruby wanted… was to feel loved. And in Mommy’s arms, she finally did.
