Morning in the house had barely begun, but tiny Ronaldo was already wide awake and full of emotion. The sun hadn’t even warmed the yard yet, but he was sitting on the wooden floor, wriggling, moaning, and loudly calling for the one thing he wanted most—his morning bath with Mom.
Every day, the warm bath was his favorite routine. It soothed him, cleaned him, and made him feel safe in Mom’s gentle hands. But today, Mom was moving a little slower than usual. She was gathering towels, checking the water temperature, preparing everything carefully. Ronaldo, however, had absolutely no patience left.
He suddenly threw himself backward, tiny feet kicking, little fists clenching. A loud tantrum cry burst from his mouth, echoing across the room. His voice rose higher with every second, as if he wanted the whole world to know he had been waiting too long.
He crawled toward the bathroom door, stopping every few steps to cry again, hoping Mom would hear him and rush over. His tail shook with frustration, and he looked up with the saddest, most dramatic face he could make—wet eyes, trembling lips, tiny chest heaving fast.
“Ronaldo, baby, Mommy is coming,” Mom finally called, but that only made him cry louder, as if saying, ‘Hurry! I want it now!’
Mom stepped in with the warm water basin, but Ronaldo was already reaching for her ankles, desperately calling. The moment she lifted him into her arms, he clung tightly, still sobbing but beginning to calm. His cries softened into little whimpers—like he was complaining, telling her everything he suffered while waiting.
When she placed him gently in the warm bath, everything changed. His tiny body instantly relaxed, shoulders softening, eyes slowly closing in relief. The steam wrapped around him like a hug. Mom poured warm water over his back, and Ronaldo let out a long, peaceful sigh.
The tantrum disappeared. The impatience faded. Now he was happy—finally getting the comfort he wanted so badly.
Mom washed him slowly, talking softly, praising him for being her strong little boy. Ronaldo leaned into her hands, making soft baby sounds, showing how thankful he was now that his world felt right again.
After the bath, Mom wrapped him in a warm towel, and Ronaldo snuggled close, calm at last. His morning had finally become perfect.
