Tiny Selena Screams for Linda’s Cuddle

Comments Off on Tiny Selena Screams for Linda’s Cuddle

Selena, the smallest little baby monkey in the whole house, woke up with one thing on her mind: she wanted a warm cuddle from her big sister Linda. Her tiny hands reached out, her soft fur sticking up from sleep, and she toddled toward Linda with a hopeful little squeak.

But Linda was busy playing with a wooden spoon on the floor, completely ignoring the little sister wobbling behind her. Selena stopped right next to her, waiting… watching… expecting Linda to lift her, hold her, or at least look at her. But nothing happened. Not even a glance.

That was all it took.

Selena’s tiny face scrunched up, her little mouth opened wide, and she let out the loudest scream her tiny lungs could produce. The whole room shook with her sharp, angry cry. Her hands slapped the floor as she stomped her little feet, furious that Linda didn’t cuddle her the moment she asked.

Linda looked over in shock, confused about why her sister had suddenly exploded into tears. She blinked, tilted her head, and slowly pushed her spoon aside. But instead of coming closer, Linda simply stared, unsure what Selena wanted.

This only made Selena even more dramatic. She screamed louder, her voice echoing like a tiny siren. Her little chest puffed in and out as she wailed, tears pooling in her eyes. She reached toward Linda again, demanding attention.

Dad rushed over, worried by the sudden noise. “Selena, sweetheart, what’s wrong?” he asked gently, lifting her tiny body into his hands. But Selena twisted around, pointing straight at Linda while crying even harder. She didn’t want Dad — she wanted Linda. She wanted the cuddle that she felt her sister owed her.

Dad carried Selena closer to Linda, hoping to calm the storm. Linda watched, puzzled but finally understanding. She slowly scooted toward them, her hands reaching out with a shy smile.

The moment Linda touched her, Selena instantly stopped crying — as if a switch had been turned off. She melted into Linda’s arms, sniffling softly as she tucked her head under her sister’s chin.

All she wanted was that warm, sisterly cuddle. And now that she had it, her tiny body relaxed completely. Linda gently stroked her head, and Selena’s angry tears turned into soft, sleepy breaths.

Even the smallest baby has the biggest feelings — and for Selena, love always came in the shape of her sister’s warm little hug.
