The soft light of morning filters through the trees as baby monkey Ricky wakes up, blinking his sleepy eyes. His fur is messy from a night of cuddling, and a tiny yawn escapes his mouth. Today is a special part of his routine — bath time with Mom. The sound of running water fills the air, and Ricky tilts his head curiously, already sensing what’s coming.
Mom prepares a small basin filled with warm water and gently calls his name. Ricky looks up at her with big, trusting eyes, holding his tiny hands together. He isn’t always a fan of water, but something about the calm morning and Mom’s soft voice makes him relax.
With careful hands, Mom lifts him and places him into the warm water. Ricky squeaks a little — the first touch of water is always a surprise! But soon he begins to enjoy it, his small body wiggling playfully as his tail floats behind him. Mom uses her gentle fingers to clean his tiny ears, his little belly, and between his fingers, making sure every bit of dust and dirt is gone.
Ricky’s face softens, eyes half-closed as if he’s melting into comfort. The warmth feels like love itself. Occasionally, he splashes with his hands, surprised by the water droplets dancing in the air. His tiny giggles fill the yard, turning the bath into a happy morning game.
After the bath, Mom wraps him in a soft towel, drying his fur and kissing the top of his head. Ricky leans against her chest, his small heart beating peacefully. She gently combs his fur with her fingers, making him look neat and fresh for the new day ahead.
The sun shines brighter now, and Ricky stretches his arms, clean, warm, and full of energy. He cuddles into Mom’s arms with a tiny smile — his morning bath done, his heart full.
Mom looks at him proudly, whispering, “My clean little boy.” And with that, the new day begins — full of love, warmth, and gentle care between mother and baby.
