A-Tong Cries Hard For His Milk

Comments Off on A-Tong Cries Hard For His Milk

The afternoon felt long and warm, and tiny baby monkey A-Tong was restless in his soft blanket. His little tummy rumbled — he was hungry again. Daddy had stepped away for just a minute to prepare his formula milk, but for A-Tong, that minute felt like forever.

He looked around with wide, worried eyes, small lips trembling. The bottle wasn’t here yet. He whimpered softly at first, clutching the edge of his blanket with his little hands. But soon, the soft whimper turned into a sharp, heart-tugging cry. His voice echoed through the room — a sound filled with both hunger and impatience.

“Alright, alright, A-Tong! Daddy’s coming!” Daddy called from the kitchen. But A-Tong didn’t stop. He kicked his tiny legs, waved his arms, and cried louder, tears starting to gather at the corners of his eyes. He could already smell the milk and see the bottle in Daddy’s hand — but it wasn’t close enough yet!

When Daddy finally came, A-Tong reached out desperately, making little squeaking sounds between sobs. His tiny tail twitched, his nose wrinkled, and his cries softened the moment the warm bottle touched his lips.

The first sip of milk made everything better. His little body relaxed, eyes closing halfway in relief. The world felt safe again. He drank greedily, hands gripping the bottle tight as if afraid it might disappear. Each gulp was followed by a faint satisfied hum — the kind only a baby monkey could make.

Daddy smiled tenderly, brushing his hand through A-Tong’s fuzzy head. “There you go, my hungry boy,” he whispered. A-Tong slowed down after a few moments, his cries completely gone, replaced by peaceful sucking sounds and tiny sighs.

When the bottle was finally empty, A-Tong lay quietly in Daddy’s arms, eyelids heavy, tummy full, and heart calm. He gave one last tiny coo before drifting off to sleep, milk still glistening on his lips.

The house was silent again — except for the soft sound of a baby monkey’s breathing — a reminder that love, warmth, and a little bottle of milk can make even the loudest tears fade into peace.
