Daddy Tells Chamroeun to Stand for Bath Time

The sun was setting behind the trees, spreading a warm orange glow over the small yard where baby monkey Chamroeun sat playing with a leaf. His fur was messy from rolling around in the dirt, and bits of grass clung to his tiny legs. Daddy monkey watched him from nearby, shaking his head with a smile — it was clearly bath time again.

“Come here, Chamroeun,” Daddy called softly, holding a small bowl of water. “Let’s get you clean.” But Chamroeun, lost in his world of play, didn’t want to listen. He looked up, tilted his head, and blinked as if he didn’t understand.

Daddy chuckled and tried again, this time more gently but firmly. “Stand up, little boy. You’re dirty.” He reached his hand toward Chamroeun, but the baby monkey only squeaked and turned away, clutching his leaf tighter like a shield.

When Daddy approached, Chamroeun let out a tiny whimper, his lips trembling. He didn’t like baths — the water was always too cold or too splashy! He crouched lower, pretending he couldn’t hear. But Daddy was patient. He slowly scooped him up, setting him down beside the bowl.

“Come on, big boy,” Daddy said kindly. “You need to wash before bedtime.”

Chamroeun crossed his little arms and pouted, letting out a loud squeal of protest. But Daddy didn’t scold him. Instead, he smiled and softly rubbed his back. The gentle touch calmed Chamroeun, and after a few moments, he finally stood — wobbling slightly on his tiny feet.

“Good job,” Daddy whispered proudly as he poured a handful of warm water over his fur. Chamroeun shivered, then giggled when the droplets tickled his belly. His cries turned into laughter, and soon the yard filled with happy little sounds.

Daddy continued washing him carefully, making sure not to startle him. The dirt washed away, revealing Chamroeun’s soft, golden fur shining in the fading sunlight. When it was done, Daddy wrapped him in a towel and lifted him close.

Chamroeun leaned into his chest, sleepy and clean, a tiny smile curling on his lips.

Daddy kissed his forehead gently. “See? All better now.”

The day ended with soft cuddles and the quiet peace of love — a clean, happy little boy safe in his daddy’s arms.
