Hungry Newborn BeBe Cries Weakly on the Floor

The tiny newborn monkey, BeBe, lay helplessly on the soft floor, her fragile body trembling with exhaustion. She was only a few days old — eyes still cloudy, limbs weak, and her belly empty. A faint cry escaped her lips, a sound so soft yet filled with desperation.

Her little chest rose and fell rapidly as she searched for comfort. There was no warmth, no milk — only the cold floor beneath her and the ache of hunger inside. Her cries grew louder, trembling through the air, each one sounding weaker than the last.

When Dad entered the room, his heart broke at the sight. “Oh, BeBe…” he whispered softly, kneeling beside her. He could see the sadness and fear in her tiny face, the way she tried to lift her head but couldn’t. He gently picked her up, feeling her frail body against his palm — she was so light, so delicate, it felt like holding a feather.

He immediately reached for her milk bottle, warming it carefully. BeBe whimpered in his hand, still crying, still calling for the comfort she didn’t yet understand. “It’s okay, baby,” he whispered as he guided the nipple to her lips.

The moment the warm milk touched her tongue, her crying stopped. She latched on weakly, drinking as fast as her tiny body allowed. Her little fingers twitched, clutching at Dad’s finger as if to say thank you. Every swallow brought her a bit more strength, her breathing slowly calming.

Dad watched with relief as color began to return to her face. “That’s my strong girl,” he whispered, tears of love glistening in his eyes.

When she finally finished, BeBe let out a soft sigh — a sound of comfort and peace. Her eyelids fluttered, and she rested her head gently in his palm, her body completely relaxed.

Dad held her close against his chest, feeling the faint rhythm of her heartbeat. “You’re safe now,” he murmured. “You’ll never be hungry again.”

Wrapped in his warmth, BeBe drifted into a deep sleep, her tiny body finally still. Her cries faded into silence, replaced by gentle breaths — the sound of a little life saved by love.
