The day started off peacefully—Daddy Monkey was brushing Luna’s fur, humming softly while she sat on the table. But Luna wasn’t in the mood for calmness that morning. She wanted to play, not sit still and be brushed!
When Daddy tried to clean a little dirt off her ear, Luna’s patience snapped. She puffed out her cheeks, frowned, and let out a loud, high-pitched scream that echoed across the room. “Eee! Eee! Eeee!” she yelled, stamping her tiny feet. Daddy Monkey paused, amused but firm. “Alright, little girl, calm down,” he said softly.
But Luna only screamed louder. She threw her arms up, shaking her head, refusing to cooperate. Her tail flicked wildly as she leaned back—too far!
In the middle of her tantrum, Luna suddenly lost her balance. With a tiny squeal, she fell backward onto the soft blanket-covered floor. For a moment, there was silence—both Luna and Daddy froze. Then Daddy rushed to check her, worried but trying not to laugh.
Luna blinked, realizing she wasn’t hurt at all. Her eyes widened in surprise, then softened with embarrassment. Daddy gently picked her up, brushing off her fur. “See what happens when you get too angry?” he said with a chuckle.
Luna hid her face against his chest, still pouting but secretly relieved. A moment later, she let out a soft giggle, cuddling close to Daddy again. The tantrum was over—replaced by warmth, laughter, and love.
That day, Luna learned that no matter how angry she got, Daddy’s arms would always be there to catch her. 🐒💞
