Tiny Mody sat in the warm bath tub, the water rippling gently around his fragile body. At first, he looked curious, his wide eyes blinking at the bubbles and the feel of water on his soft fur. But the moment mom stepped back to grab a towel, Mody’s courage vanished.
A small whimper escaped his lips, then quickly turned into loud cries. His little hands splashed the water helplessly, his face scrunching up in fear. He wanted comfort, he wanted safety—and in his baby heart, that meant only one thing: daddy.
“Daaa… daaa…” his cries seemed to call, his tiny body trembling as he looked around desperately. The echo of his voice was filled with panic, the sound of a little one who didn’t want to be left alone.
Hearing the cries, daddy rushed into the room. The sight broke his heart—his little boy shivering, tears mixing with the bath water, reaching out with desperate little arms. Without hesitation, daddy knelt beside the tub and gently stroked Mody’s head.
The transformation was instant. The moment he felt daddy’s presence, Mody’s cries softened into sniffles. He leaned forward, clinging tightly to daddy’s hand as if never wanting to let go. Daddy whispered softly, “I’m here, my boy, don’t be afraid.”
With calm words and gentle touches, Mody finally began to relax. His trembling stopped, and the bath no longer felt so frightening. Instead, with daddy close, it became a safe place.
That night, as he was wrapped in a warm towel and held in strong arms, Mody drifted into peace. For him, love wasn’t in the water or the bath—it was in knowing that when he called, daddy would always come.
