Luno Cries Sadly After Failing to Get Milk from Mom Luna

Tiny Luno was hungry—and desperate.

His little tummy rumbled as he waddled toward his mom, Luna, who was resting under the warm tree shade with her eyes half-closed. He blinked up at her, stretched out his arms, and let out a soft, pleading sound.

“Eh… eh… mama?”

He crawled closer, nuzzling her side gently with his head. It was his quiet way of saying, “Please, just a little milk.”

But Luna didn’t respond.

She was tired—too tired to realize her baby was asking for comfort. She shifted slightly, blocking Luno with her elbow without even noticing. And just like that… his chance was gone.

Luno froze.

His eyes welled up. He sniffled once… then again…

And suddenly, the sadness poured out of him.

“WAAAAAHHH!!”
His cry pierced through the quiet garden, sharp and full of heartbreak.

Startled, Luna sat up. “Luno?”

He was sitting beside her now, curled into a tiny ball, face buried in his hands, sobbing like the world had ended.

He didn’t understand why she said no. He didn’t realize it wasn’t on purpose. All he knew was—he asked for love, and it didn’t come.

The other babies peeked over the bushes.
“Oh no… Luno’s crying again,” whispered Emma.
“He just wanted some milk,” sighed Tori.

Mom Luna’s eyes softened with guilt. She gently pulled Luno into her arms.

“I’m so sorry, my little love,” she whispered, pressing him close. “I didn’t see you were asking.”

As he nuzzled into her chest, she offered him milk, and his cries slowly quieted. His tiny hands clung to her fur, and his breathing eased.
