Little Lolo was having one of those days. He was hungry, he was impatient, and he needed his snack right now!
Mom was busy in the kitchen, chopping fruits and preparing Lolo’s favorite treats, but to Lolo, it felt like she was taking a lifetime. He plopped himself dramatically on the floor, tucking his arms and legs close to his body, curling up like a little snail. Then, the real show began!
Lolo started moaning softly, stretching his body out slowly and wiggling forward an inch at a time, just like a tiny snail moving across the floor. His eyes squinted, his lips pushed out in a pout, and his face twisted into the funniest expression of fake suffering.
He let out a series of the most dramatic whiny noises you could imagine — long, drawn-out sounds that made it seem like he was traveling across a desert with no food for days!
Mom peeked over from the kitchen and couldn’t help but laugh at the silly sight. “Lolo! You little snail!” she called out with a giggle. But Lolo wasn’t done yet—he paused, threw a mock angry look toward Mom, and started moaning even louder, clearly blaming her for his “suffering.”
When Mom finally approached him with his snacks, Lolo instantly dropped the snail act and jumped up with excitement, reaching his tiny hands out eagerly. His fake anger disappeared in a second, replaced with a huge smile.
Sitting happily with his plate full of yummy treats, Lolo munched away, occasionally glancing at Mom with a cheeky grin—his way of saying, “Next time, hurry up!”
