Tourtour, the cheeky little baby monkey with the biggest mouth in the nursery, found himself in a situation he absolutely hated—alone in the room, without his mom. The moment she stepped out, even just for a minute, Tourtour’s eyes grew wide, and his lips began to quiver.
He looked around the room, scanned every corner, and realized—Mom wasn’t coming back immediately. And that was enough for the drama to begin.
“Aaaahhh!!” Tourtour let out a scream so loud, it echoed through the whole house. He jumped up, stomped his tiny feet, and ran to the door, pounding it with his little hands.
“Moooom! Where are you?!” he cried, his voice full of frustration and desperation.
He rolled on the floor, tossed his stuffed banana toy across the room, and even flung a tiny blanket like he was starting a protest. His big mouth kept screaming—loud, sharp, dramatic, and nonstop. He didn’t care if anyone was watching—he needed his mom back now.
After a few minutes of pure chaos, Mom finally walked in, holding a bottle of warm milk and a soft towel.
“Tourtour!” she called gently, “Mommy’s here, sweetie.”
But Tourtour wasn’t done being dramatic. He crossed his arms and turned his back with a grumpy pout. Mom giggled, knelt down, and scooped him into her arms. He tried to resist for a moment, still angry—but once that milk bottle touched his lips, all the anger melted away.
Wrapped in Mom’s arms, belly filling with milk, Tourtour finally stopped screaming. His eyes softened, and he gave a sleepy grunt as if saying, “Don’t leave me again.”
And just like that, the loudest baby monkey in the house turned into the calmest cuddle bug—all because Mom came back.
