Early in the morning, baby Jasmine was up to no good.
She had already knocked over a fruit bowl, pulled a blanket off the bed, and even stole Mom’s hair tie!
But the last straw?
Jasmine climbed onto the table and kicked over Mom’s tea!
SPLASH! The warm liquid spilled everywhere.
Mom gasped. “JASMINE!!”
Jasmine froze, eyes wide. Uh-oh.
Mom picked her up and sat her down in the corner.
“NO playing right now. You’re in trouble!”
Jasmine pouted. She hated being punished!
She tried to sneak away—but Mom pointed at her.
“No, stay there!”
Jasmine huffed and crossed her arms.
She made her saddest face ever. Maybe that would work?
Mom just shook her head. “Nope. You have to learn!”
Jasmine whimpered, her tail curling around her tiny feet.
After a few minutes, she looked up at Mom.
“Mommy… I sorry.”
Mom sighed and smiled. “Okay, but no more being naughty, okay?”
Jasmine jumped into Mom’s arms, hugging her tight.
Mom laughed and kissed her tiny head.
And just like that, Jasmine was back in her happy place.
