Little TavTav sat on the floor, his tiny hands gripping a soft blanket. His big eyes scanned the room, searching for Mom.
But Mom was busy!
She was taking care of something else, and TavTav didn’t like that one bit.
His little lips trembled. His tiny ears twitched. Then, without warning—
“WAAAAAHHHH!!!”
A high-pitched scream filled the room. TavTav threw his arms up, kicking his tiny feet in frustration. His little face turned red as he demanded Mom’s attention!
Mom turned quickly. “TavTav! What happened?!”
But TavTav wasn’t done yet.
“AAAAAHHHH!!”
The other baby monkeys looked over, some covering their ears. Even the birds outside flew away at the sound!
Mom rushed over, scooping TavTav into her arms. “What is it, my baby?”
TavTav sniffled, then instantly calmed down the moment Mom held him. His tiny fingers grabbed onto her fur, pulling himself closer.
Mom sighed and kissed his tiny forehead. “You just wanted me to hold you, huh?”
TavTav nuzzled into her chest, finally happy.
Mom chuckled. “You’re such a spoiled little monkey.”
TavTav didn’t care. He had exactly what he wanted—Mom’s warm, loving arms around him.
As she rocked him gently, his tiny eyelids grew heavy. Soon, the loudest baby monkey in the room was fast asleep, safe in Mom’s care.
