The morning sun shone brightly as the wind rustled through the tall coconut trees. A tiny, frightened baby monkey clung desperately to the rough bark, his tiny hands gripping the trunk tightly. His little heart pounded in fear as he whimpered, his voice trembling.
His name was Toto, a playful and curious little monkey who loved climbing. But this time, he had gone too high—way too high! Looking down, he saw the ground far below and panicked. His small body shook, and he let out loud, desperate cries for help.
Hearing his cries, Mom and his older sister, Jina, rushed to the tree. Their eyes widened in concern as they saw little Toto stuck near the top.
“Oh no! Toto, don’t move! Stay there, baby!” Mom called out, trying to keep him calm. But Toto was too scared. His tiny hands slipped slightly, and he screamed in terror!
Jina quickly climbed up the tree like a brave little warrior, her tail swinging gracefully to balance herself. She reached Toto, wrapped her tiny arms around him, and whispered gently, “Don’t be scared, I got you!”
Slowly, step by step, Jina helped guide Toto down, while Mom watched nervously from below. As soon as they reached safety, Mom scooped Toto into her warm embrace. He clung to her, his tiny body still trembling from fear.
Mom kissed his little head and whispered, “You silly boy! No more climbing too high, okay?”
Toto sniffled, nodded, and buried his face in Mom’s fur. He had learned his lesson—but who knows for how long!
