It was a quiet afternoon, and little Chichi was supposed to rest. But today, the tiny monkey was in a terrible mood.
Mom had just taken away her snack because Chichi had thrown pieces all over the floor instead of eating properly.
“No more snack for now, Chichi. You need to behave,” Mom said firmly.
That was it. Chichi’s tiny face turned red, her lips trembled, and then—the tantrum began!
She threw herself backward onto the bed, kicking her legs wildly in the air. “EEEEEEEKKK!!” she screamed, shaking her tiny fists.
Rolling back and forth, she knocked over a small pillow, then grabbed it and tossed it across the bed. Her tiny tail flicked angrily as she pounded her hands on the soft blanket.
She arched her back, then flopped back down, her little mouth wide open in a dramatic wail. “EEEK!! MOMMY!!!”
Mom watched with a patient smile. “Are you done, little one?” she asked, crossing her arms.
But Chichi wasn’t finished yet! She rolled onto her tummy, kicked her feet, then flipped onto her back again, throwing a fit as if the world had ended.
After a few minutes of nonstop rolling and screaming, Chichi paused, breathing heavily. Her little chest rose and fell, and her tail twitched.
Mom gently picked her up, rocking her in her arms. “Okay, drama queen, let’s calm down now.”
Chichi sniffled, resting her head on Mom’s shoulder, finally exhausted from her tantrum.
Mom kissed her forehead. “You can have a snack again if you behave, okay?”
Chichi nodded slowly, her tantrum forgotten. But inside, she was already planning her next little naughty protest!
