It was a peaceful afternoon, and A Tong sat on a small wooden table, watching his mom eat a sweet dessert. The delicious smell of the treat filled the air, making his tiny mouth water.
His big, round eyes followed every bite. He licked his lips and reached out his tiny hands.
“Ehh! Eh! Mom! Give me some!” he whined, wiggling his fingers.
But Mom only smiled and said, “Not yet, baby. Let me finish first.”
A Tong’s patience snapped!
He threw his hands in the air and clapped loudly!
SMACK! SMACK!
Then, he opened his mouth wide and let out a LOUD CRY!
“Maaaaahhhhhh!!!” His tiny body shook with frustration.
The other baby monkeys turned to look. Even the birds in the tree stopped singing.
Still, Mom ignored his tantrum. She simply ate another bite, pretending not to see him.
That was it! A Tong cried even louder!
He kicked his legs, pounded the table, and clapped again—this time even harder!
Finally, Mom sighed. She scooped a tiny spoonful and held it out.
The moment A Tong saw the dessert, his tears vanished!
His little hands grabbed the spoon, and he ate the sweet treat happily.
Mom shook her head. “What a little troublemaker!” she laughed.
A Tong just smacked his lips, already thinking about his next sweet bite! 🍮🐵💕
