Little Robby, the adorable baby monkey, had been trying to walk on his own for days. His tiny legs wobbled whenever he tried, and he would quickly fall back on his bottom. But today was different. Today, something caught his attention—something exciting and full of energy.
A fluffy brown dog trotted near the yard, wagging its tail happily. Robby’s eyes lit up with excitement. He had never seen a dog up close before, and his little heart pounded with curiosity. He clung to his mom’s leg, watching the dog with wide, fascinated eyes.
The dog barked playfully, and Robby’s tiny hands twitched. His little body trembled—not with fear, but with eagerness. He wanted to get closer. Without thinking, he took a step forward. Then another. His legs wobbled, but this time, he didn’t fall! He was walking!
“Bravo, Robby!” his mom cheered.
The little monkey grinned and clapped his hands excitedly before taking a few more unsteady steps. The dog, noticing Robby’s excitement, playfully bounced toward him. Robby squeaked in joy, his tail twitching as he took faster steps, trying to reach his new furry friend.
Suddenly, the dog gave a loud bark! Robby froze in place, eyes wide, then let out a tiny startled cry before quickly running back to his mom’s arms.
His mom chuckled and held him close. “You were so brave, my little one,” she whispered.
Though the dog still seemed a little scary, Robby had made a big achievement today—his first steps! And deep down, he knew he would try again soon.
