It was a bright morning in the yard, and little A Tong sat on a soft patch of grass, watching his mom with big, curious eyes. He was still learning to walk, but today, he felt extra determined to improve his skills.

His mom clapped her hands. “Come on, A Tong! You can do it!”

A Tong lifted his tiny body, wobbled a little, and then took a small step. But instead of walking normally, he bent his legs and bounced forward—just like a little frog!

Mom gasped in surprise. “Oh my! What kind of walking is that, my boy?”

A Tong didn’t stop. He kept hopping, his little arms flailing as he tried to keep his balance. He looked so funny, but he was too focused to care. His movements were quick, his energy unstoppable. Each time he landed, he pushed himself up again, determined to keep going.

Mom burst into laughter. “A Tong, you’re not a frog! But you’re learning so fast!”

Hearing his mom’s laughter, A Tong got even more excited. He bounced even higher, his little feet barely touching the ground before he jumped again.

Then—thump!—he lost his balance and tumbled forward, rolling onto his belly. For a second, he stayed still, blinking in surprise. Then, instead of crying, he giggled!

Mom clapped again. “That was amazing! You are getting better every day!”

A Tong grinned proudly. He might not have walked perfectly yet, but his fast improvement was something to celebrate. Maybe tomorrow, he would walk a little straighter. But for now, hopping like a frog was just too much fun!
