Yuri stood on the wooden floor, her tiny arms crossed over her chest, her little face scrunched up in frustration. She had been playing happily just moments ago, but then—Mom pointed her finger at her!

“No, Yuri! You must behave!” Mom had said firmly, wagging her finger.

That was it. That was the moment everything changed.

Yuri’s big, round eyes filled with tears. Her tiny mouth trembled before she let out the loudest, most dramatic cry.

“Waaaaaahhh!”

She stomped her little feet, shaking her body in anger. How dare Mom point at her like that? It wasn’t fair! She flung her arms in the air, letting out a high-pitched squeal of frustration.

Mom sighed, placing her hands on her hips. “Yuri, stop acting like that. I’m just teaching you.”

But Yuri wasn’t listening. She clenched her tiny fists and threw her head back, wailing even louder. She wanted Mommy to take back her words, to stop pointing at her!

Seeing no other choice, Mom knelt down and gently reached for Yuri. “Come here, little one.”

But Yuri took a step back, shaking her head furiously. No way! She was too upset!

Mom chuckled at her stubbornness. “Alright, I won’t point at you anymore. But you still have to behave.”

Hearing that, Yuri slowly stopped screaming, though she still pouted, her cheeks puffed up in protest. Mom reached out and pulled her into a warm hug, rubbing her back gently.

“There, there, my little drama queen,” Mom whispered. “No more finger-pointing. But you must listen, okay?”

Yuri sniffled, her anger melting away. She clung to Mom’s shirt, nodding slightly. Maybe—just maybe—she’d forgive Mommy this time.
