Minea Pretends to Drown for Attention

The afternoon sun shined gently through the leaves as tiny Minea played near the shallow water basin. Her mom had just given her a quick rinse and stepped away for a moment to prepare her milk. Minea, always playful and full of mischief, sat in the water, splashing with her tiny hands.

As she watched her mom’s back, an idea sparked in her little mind. She had been waiting for her milk, but mom was taking too long. Maybe, just maybe, if she made a scene, she would get her way faster.

Suddenly, Minea threw herself backward into the shallow water, arms flailing, mouth wide open. “Ehhhhh! Ehhhhhh!” she screamed as if she were drowning. Even though the water barely covered her tiny belly, she kicked and waved her arms dramatically.

Hearing the loud cries, Mom turned in a panic. Her heart pounded as she saw her little baby flopping in the water. “Minea! Oh no!” she rushed toward her.

The second Minea saw her mom running, she instantly stopped screaming and sat up, blinking her big, innocent eyes. She giggled, her tiny tail twitching in amusement.

Mom froze for a second, realizing what had happened. “You little trickster!” she sighed, shaking her head.

Minea reached up with her tiny hands, asking to be carried. With a sigh, Mom scooped her up, holding her close. As expected, Minea nuzzled into her chest, knowing she had successfully stolen all of her mom’s attention.

Mom kissed the top of her little head. “You’re lucky you’re so cute, little troublemaker.”

Minea purred happily, resting her head on her mom’s shoulder, already planning her next prank.
