In a quiet village, a playful baby monkey named Kiki lived with her loving human family. She was full of energy, always running around, climbing trees, and playing with anything she could find. But among all her toys, her favorite companion was a small, fluffy puppy named Bruno.
Bruno was gentle and calm, always wagging his tail happily whenever Kiki came near. One sunny afternoon, Kiki spotted Bruno lying under the shade of a mango tree, enjoying the cool breeze. Excited, she rushed toward him, her little feet pattering against the ground.
With a squeal of delight, Kiki wrapped her tiny arms around Bruno’s soft body and hugged him tightly. She loved Bruno so much that she didn’t realize she was squeezing him too hard. The poor puppy whimpered, trying to wiggle free, but Kiki held on even tighter.
Bruno started breathing heavily, his little paws scratching at the ground. Kiki, thinking he was just playing, giggled and hugged him even more, pressing her face against his fur. Suddenly, her human mom saw what was happening and rushed over.
“Kiki, no! Let go of Bruno!” she said, gently pulling the baby monkey away. Kiki looked up with innocent eyes, confused. She didn’t mean to hurt her friend—she just wanted to show her love!
As soon as she let go, Bruno took a deep breath and wagged his tail weakly. Kiki, realizing she had scared him, patted his head softly, as if to say sorry.
From that day on, Kiki learned to be more gentle with her puppy friend. And Bruno? He still loved Kiki, but he always made sure to keep his distance whenever she got too excited!
