Little Bunny was having a very impatient morning. The tiny baby monkey was sitting in her cozy basket, looking toward the kitchen where her human daddy was preparing her bottle. Her little tummy was empty, and she was not interested in waiting another minute!
“Eeee! Eeee! Eeee!” Bunny cried loudly, stretching both hands toward the doorway. She looked so serious, as if she were telling her daddy, “Hurry up! My milk is taking forever!”
Daddy heard her from the kitchen and smiled. “I hear you, little princess. Your bottle is coming!”
But Bunny wasn’t convinced. She wiggled around in her soft blanket, lifted her head, and called again. Every few seconds, she looked toward the kitchen to check whether Daddy was finally coming back.
Her tiny mouth opened wide as she made another loud squeal. She even reached over the side of her basket, hoping to get his attention. Daddy quickly returned to make sure she was safe and comfortable while he finished preparing her feeding.
“Someone is very hungry this morning!” he whispered.
Bunny stared at him with wide eyes. When she saw the bottle in his hand, she became even more excited. Her little hands moved quickly, and she made several happy squeaks.
Daddy knew that feeding a baby monkey required special care. He followed the veterinarian’s instructions for the appropriate primate formula, correct preparation, temperature, and feeding amount. He checked everything carefully instead of rushing just because Bunny was crying.
Finally, he settled beside her and made sure she was positioned safely and comfortably. Bunny calmed down as Daddy began feeding her according to the recommended method. Her loud cries slowly turned into quiet little sounds.
Daddy watched her carefully, making sure she was swallowing comfortably and not coughing or struggling. He never forced her to finish the bottle. When she had enough, he followed her care routine and helped her settle.
After her feeding, Bunny looked completely different. The impatient little girl who had been screaming at the top of her voice was now peaceful and relaxed. She nestled into her soft blanket, blinking slowly at Daddy.
But Bunny wasn’t finished asking for attention!
She reached out with one tiny hand and grabbed his finger. Daddy laughed softly. “Oh, now you want me to stay?”
Bunny made a little squeak and held on tighter.
Daddy sat beside her for a while, gently talking to her. He knew that caring for a baby monkey meant much more than preparing milk. She needed appropriate nutrition, warmth, companionship, veterinary care, and a safe environment every single day.
Soon, Bunny’s eyes began to close. Her little body relaxed, and she rested peacefully in her cozy basket.
Daddy gently touched her head and whispered, “Next time, little Bunny, I’ll try to be faster!”
And just before falling asleep, Bunny gave him one tiny squeak—as if she were reminding him not to be late for her next bottle.
What an impatient little milk girl! ❤️
