Little Chamroeun was having a terrible morning—or at least, that’s what he wanted Daddy to believe! Every morning, Daddy followed the same routine: wake up the little monkey, prepare everything for bath time, and make sure his precious baby was clean and comfortable. But today, Chamroeun had a completely different plan. He wanted to stay exactly where he was and avoid the morning bath at all costs!
When Daddy approached with the bathing supplies, Chamroeun immediately noticed something was about to happen. His little eyes widened, his mouth opened, and he began making loud complaining sounds. It was almost as if he already knew what Daddy was planning.
“No, Daddy! Not today! Please let me sleep a little longer!” his dramatic little expression seemed to say.
Daddy gently called his name and tried to encourage him to get ready. But Chamroeun wasn’t interested in listening. He began screaming even louder, moving his tiny hands around and turning his face away from the bathing supplies.
Daddy smiled and tried to reassure him. “Come on, sweetheart. It’s time to get cleaned up.”
But Chamroeun seemed determined to negotiate a different arrangement. He looked at Daddy with his most innocent expression, then suddenly started crying again. His little face became so dramatic that it looked as though he was preparing to deliver an important speech about why morning baths should be canceled forever!
Every time Daddy mentioned bath time, Chamroeun responded with another loud protest. He wanted Daddy to understand that he was perfectly comfortable without getting wet that morning.
Perhaps he was still sleepy. Perhaps he wasn’t enjoying the morning routine. Whatever the reason, this little monkey was certainly making his opinion known!
Daddy patiently paused and gave him some time to settle down. He didn’t want to turn bath time into a frightening experience. Instead, he spoke gently, allowing Chamroeun to become comfortable before continuing.
The little monkey slowly stopped crying and looked at Daddy suspiciously. He seemed to be checking whether the bathing plan had finally been canceled.
Daddy offered him some reassurance and gently prepared a comfortable, safe bathing environment. The water temperature was checked carefully, and everything was kept ready so the little one wouldn’t become unnecessarily uncomfortable.
Chamroeun watched every movement. His expression seemed to say, “Daddy, I thought we had an agreement!”
Daddy couldn’t help laughing at his stubborn little boy. He knew that Chamroeun sometimes needed extra patience, especially when he was tired or not in the mood for his usual routine.
After a little while, the tiny monkey became calmer. Daddy continued gently, making sure the experience was safe and comfortable rather than rushing him.
By the end of the morning, Chamroeun was much more relaxed. His dramatic crying had finally stopped, and he seemed ready to enjoy the rest of his day.
But Daddy knew one thing for certain: tomorrow morning, another negotiation might be waiting!
