Early one morning, tiny newborn Bubu woke up looking unusually uncomfortable. He was lying quietly on his soft blanket, but something about his little expression was different. Instead of looking sleepy and peaceful, Bubu kept making tiny movements with his body and pushing his little legs up and down. His face became serious, and his tiny eyebrows seemed to tighten as though he was trying very hard to tell Mommy that something was wrong.
Mommy noticed immediately.
“Oh, Bubu… what are you trying to do, sweetheart?” she whispered.
Bubu looked up at her with the saddest little face. He made a soft whimper and pushed again, but nothing seemed to happen. His tiny mouth opened as he made another unhappy sound. Mommy gently stayed beside him, watching carefully and making sure he was warm and comfortable.
Poor little Bubu seemed frustrated.
He moved his tiny legs again and made a strained little expression. Every few moments, he looked toward Mommy as if asking for help. Mommy gently spoke to him in a soothing voice.
“It’s okay, little one. Mommy is right here.”
She knew that a newborn baby monkey can be very delicate, so she didn’t try to force anything or give him random remedies. Instead, she followed the feeding and care instructions provided for his species and age. If a newborn is having difficulty passing stool, especially if there is repeated straining, swelling, vomiting, blood, weakness, or no bowel movement, professional veterinary or wildlife care is important.
Bubu continued making tiny unhappy sounds.
Mommy carefully checked him for signs of distress and kept him warm. She gently comforted him while waiting to see whether he could pass stool normally. His sad little face made Mommy feel sorry for him, but she remained calm because she knew that newborns needed careful, gentle care rather than rough handling.
After a while, Bubu relaxed slightly.
His tiny legs stopped moving so much, and he rested against Mommy’s hand. He still looked serious, but the tension in his little body seemed to lessen.
“There you go, baby Bubu,” Mommy whispered. “Take your time.”
Bubu blinked slowly.
Then came a tiny little sound.
Mommy looked down at him and smiled with relief when she realized that Bubu had finally managed to poop. His tiny face seemed to relax almost immediately, and he stopped making those worried little cries.
“Oh, goodness! You worked so hard, little baby!”
Bubu looked exhausted after his effort. Mommy gently cleaned him using safe, appropriate care and made sure he was warm and comfortable again. She then settled him back onto his soft blanket.
The sad expression slowly disappeared.
Bubu tucked his tiny hands close to his body and closed his eyes. Mommy stayed beside him, watching over him carefully.
For such a tiny newborn, even something as simple as passing stool could feel like a huge challenge. But with warmth, patience, careful observation, and appropriate professional guidance when needed, Bubu could get the gentle support his fragile little body required.
Soon, the newborn baby was sleeping peacefully again, his little face finally calm.
