The morning was peaceful until little Ronaldo suddenly became very upset.

He had been sitting happily on a soft mat while Mom organized some things nearby.

At first, Ronaldo played quietly with his favorite toy.

But after watching Mom walk back and forth without picking him up, his mood quickly changed.

He stretched both tiny arms toward her.

“Mama…”

Mom looked over and smiled.

“Just a moment, sweetheart.”

But Ronaldo didn’t want to wait.

His little lips began to tremble.

Then suddenly—

“WAAAAAH!”

His tiny body rolled backward onto the soft floor as he cried loudly.

Mom turned around in surprise.

“Oh goodness, Ronaldo!”

Ronaldo kicked his little feet and waved both arms toward her.

He rolled slightly from side to side, making his message very clear.

He wanted Mom to pick him up.

He didn’t want his toy.

He didn’t want to sit alone.

He wanted Mommy’s arms.

Dad heard the dramatic crying and came over.

“Someone is really asking for a cuddle today.”

Ronaldo looked at Dad for a second, then immediately turned his attention back toward Mom.

“Mama! Mama!”

His eyes filled with tears.

Mom gently knelt beside him.

“I know, my little boy. Mommy is here.”

She held out both arms.

Ronaldo immediately reached toward her.

Mom carefully lifted him from the soft floor and pulled him close to her chest.

The crying almost stopped instantly.

Ronaldo wrapped both tiny arms around her and buried his face against her shoulder.

Mom gently rubbed his back.

“There you are.”

“You just wanted Mommy to hold you.”

Ronaldo gave a tiny sniffle and held onto her shirt even tighter.

Dad smiled.

“I guess that was his way of saying, ‘Pick me up!'”

Mom laughed softly.

“Next time, sweetheart, you can just reach for Mommy.”

Ronaldo looked up at her with watery eyes.

Mom kissed his forehead.

“You’re safe now.”

She gently rocked him while softly humming.

Within a few minutes, his tears had completely disappeared.

Mom offered him a warm bottle while keeping him safely in her arms.

Ronaldo drank peacefully, occasionally looking up at Mom to make sure she was still there.

When the bottle was empty, he gave a tiny satisfied sigh.

His earlier frustration was gone.

His little body relaxed against Mom’s chest.

Soon, his eyelids became heavy.

Mom whispered, “Even when you’re upset, Mommy will always listen to you.”

Ronaldo rested his head on her shoulder and slowly drifted to sleep.

Dad quietly smiled as he watched them.

“The biggest cries sometimes come from the smallest hearts.”

Mom gently kissed Ronaldo’s forehead.

“And sometimes all those little hearts need is a warm hug.”

Wrapped safely in Mom’s loving arms, Ronaldo slept peacefully, finally getting the comforting cuddle he had been asking for all morning.
