The morning began with bright sunshine shining through the windows, filling the house with warmth.

Little Atong had just woken up from a peaceful nap. He stretched his tiny arms, rubbed his sleepy eyes, and looked around with a cheerful smile.

There was only one thing on his mind.

His morning bottle of warm milk.

As always, Atong looked toward the small table where Mom usually placed his bottle while preparing breakfast.

But today…

It wasn’t there.

Atong blinked.

He looked again.

Still nothing.

His happy smile slowly disappeared.

He searched behind his blanket, peeked under his favorite stuffed toy, and even looked around the corners of the room.

No bottle.

No milk.

His tiny heart began to worry.

Just a few feet away, Mom was smiling softly. She had playfully hidden the bottle behind her back while waiting for the formula to cool to the perfect temperature.

She wanted to surprise her little boy.

But Atong didn’t know that.

His tiny lips began to tremble.

He stared at Mom with wide, confused eyes as if silently asking, “Mom… where did my milk go?”

Mom tried to distract him with a colorful toy.

Atong barely looked at it.

His eyes stayed fixed on Mom.

Then tears slowly filled his eyes.

“Waa… waa…”

The soft whimpers quickly became loud, emotional cries.

“WAAAAAH!”

His little shoulders shook as he sat on the floor, reaching both tiny arms toward Mom.

He wasn’t angry.

He was simply scared that his favorite bottle had disappeared.

Dad walked into the room and smiled knowingly.

“I think someone misses his breakfast.”

Mom gently laughed.

“I know, sweetheart. Mommy was only waiting for the milk to cool.”

But Atong couldn’t understand those words.

To him, the missing bottle felt like the biggest problem in the world.

His tiny face looked so pitiful that Mom’s heart melted instantly.

She knelt beside him and wrapped him in a warm hug.

“I’m sorry, my precious boy.”

Atong buried his face against her shoulder, still sniffling softly.

Then Mom slowly brought the bottle out from behind her back.

The moment Atong saw it, his crying stopped.

His eyes grew round with surprise.

“There it is!” Mom said with a smile.

Atong reached for the bottle with both tiny hands as if he had discovered a hidden treasure.

He hugged it tightly before eagerly drinking the warm milk.

Sip.

Sip.

Sip.

Within moments, the tears were gone.

His little body relaxed, and his full tummy brought back his happy mood.

Dad laughed softly.

“A few minutes ago, he thought the world had ended.”

Mom kissed Atong’s forehead.

“And now he’s smiling again.”

When the bottle was empty, Atong let out a tiny satisfied sigh and cuddled close to Mom.

He gently rested his head on her shoulder, feeling safe once more.

Mom softly stroked his fluffy fur.

“My sweet little Atong, Mommy would never forget your milk. Sometimes I only need a little time to make it just right.”

Atong looked up with sleepy eyes and gave Mom the tiniest cuddle before drifting peacefully to sleep.

Watching the little monkey rest so comfortably, Mom smiled.

She realized that to a tiny baby, love wasn’t measured by grand gestures.

It was found in a warm bottle, a comforting hug, and the reassuring promise that whenever he felt worried, Mom would always be there to make everything right again.
