Little newborn Selena was feeling very stubborn today.
Mom gently placed the tiny baby monkey on the ground so she could play and explore.
But Selena had other ideas.
The moment her little feet touched the floor—
A huge pout appeared.
Tiny eyebrows frowned.
Then—
“AHHHHH!”
Selena let out a sharp, angry cry.
The dramatic little baby waved her tiny hands and protested loudly, making it very clear that she did not want to stay on the ground.
Poor Mom tried to encourage her.
“Come on, Selena. You can play here.”
But the stubborn newborn refused.
She looked up at Mom with watery eyes and stretched both little arms upward, demanding to be picked up immediately.
“MAMAAA!”
The tiny monkey cried again and again.
No toys interested her.
No exploring sounded fun.
Selena only wanted cuddles and attention.
The little baby continued pouting and making grumpy noises while sitting exactly where Mom had placed her.
Finally—
Mom knelt beside Selena and gently comforted her.
The newborn immediately leaned closer, happy to have Mom’s attention again.
Little by little—
The sharp cries faded.
The angry pout became smaller.
And the stubborn little monkey calmed down.
Soon, Selena was happily cuddling with Mom and feeling much better.
Because sometimes, tiny babies decide that being on the ground is simply not part of their plan for the day.
