Little Baboo had a very emotional moment today after bath time.
The tiny baby monkey had just finished a warm bath with Daddy and was hoping for cuddles, a soft towel, and lots of attention.
Wrapped up and feeling cozy, Baboo looked calm and happy.
But then—
Daddy gently put Baboo down on the floor.
Instant sadness.
Huge trembling pout.
Watery eyes.
The little baby looked completely shocked that cuddle time had ended so soon.
Then—
“AHHHHH!”
Baboo burst into heartbreaking cries.
Tiny tears rolled down his cheeks while he sat on the floor reaching both little hands toward Daddy, clearly wanting to be held again.
Poor emotional baby looked absolutely devastated.
“DAAADDDY!”
He cried loudly while staring up with sad little eyes, begging for another cuddle.
No toys mattered.
No distractions helped.
Baboo only wanted to be back in Daddy’s arms.
Daddy quickly knelt down beside the emotional little monkey and gently comforted him.
“Oh, baby Baboo…”
The moment Daddy picked him up again, everything changed.
The loud crying softened into tiny sniffles.
The trembling pout slowly disappeared.
And the little baby cuddled tightly against Daddy’s chest, finally feeling safe and comforted once more.
Little by little—
His tears stopped.
His body relaxed.
And Baboo became peaceful again in the warm hug he wanted all along.
Because sometimes, after a cozy bath—
the hardest part is being put down when all you want is one more cuddle.
